Scholarship Details: UK‡s Blue Planet Fund is opening an application pathway for students from the United States and Pacific Islands who are willing to undertake a PhD or Master‡s study in Marine Science through a Commonwealth Host University. The scholarship program will cover tuition fees, living allowances, travel grants and research support.

- The applicants for Master‡s should be citizens of, and normally resident in, the Solomon Islands or Vanuatu.
- The applicants for PhD should be citizens of other Pacific Island countries (Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Tokelau, Samoa, Tonga and Tuvalu).
- The applicants should be working in or have significant experience of work in the areas of environment, fisheries and aquaculture science.
- The applicants should propose a research topic which is innovative, timely, and likely to lead to a clearly demonstrated wider impact beyond the academic community.
