IED International Scholarship Competition Undergraduate and Foundation Courses in Italy and Spain

IED’s Scholarship Competition is open to talented young people who want to study abroad. The prizes range from 5,000 euro up to 10,000 euro.

44 scholarships for IED Undergraduate Courses have been awarded to students from Italy, Spain, and across the globe. Applicants who have undertaken an undergraduate or foundation course at IED are eligible to receive 50% off their tuition fee for the applied programme.

The Istituto Europeo di Design was founded in 1966 and is an Italian design school that offers exceptional theoretical and practical training. It operates with four departments: Design, Fashion, Visual Communication, and Management.

Eligibity

  • Eligible Countries: Italian, Spanish and all other international students are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate and foundation courses at the IED.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • The applicants must be 18 years old by December 31st, 2023.
  • The applicants must have accomplished a high school diploma by September 2023.
  • The applicants must not have already obtained a diploma from IED, Galli Academy and Kunsthal, or related schools.
  • The applicants must read the regulations.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: Admission applications must be submitted online. Students can register for the opportunity program by submitting the registration form
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Copy of Identity Document (ID card for EU citizens/valid passport for non – EU citizens);
  • Tax Code (only for Italian citizens)
  • Residence Self-Declaration (only for Italian citizens)
  • Copy of the upper secondary school leaving qualification (if already obtained) or attendance certificate for the final year of upper secondary school (12th or 13th year of schooling), translated into Italian or English (translation is not required for documents issued in French, Spanish or English)
  • Copy of the upper secondary school transcripts, translated into Italian or English (translation is not required for documents issued in French, Spanish or English)
  • Transfer certificate, withdrawal certificate or academic qualification, if already available, issued by the previous university, translated into Italian or English. (Only for students previously enrolled in other universities. The translation is not required for documents issued in French, Spanish or English)
  • Portfolio or project assignment
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must hold an official upper secondary school leaving qualification from the foreign education system of reference.
  • Language Requirement: The applicants must show proficiency in the language of the course – required B2 as a minimum level.

Benefits

The winners of the IED Undergraduate Scholarship will be awarded 50% of the tuition fee of the study programme undertaken at IED.
